or experience in permaculture
Empower
yourself to promote sustainable living and design!
In this dynamic, interactive and fun course learn powerful
teaching techniques to communicate whole systems education
and Permaculture principles. Jude and Tom create innovative
experiences that address varied adult learning styles and
utilize your unique strengths and talents. Lecture, discussions,
module building and team presentations provide the essential
learning experiences for this course.
Course
Tuition: $600 (includes course materials, camping, and
three organic meals a day)
Prerequisite:
Permaculture Design Course Certificate or experience in permaculture
Location:
Wolf Gulch Farm, Jacksonville, Oregon. Classes will take place
in a straw bale retreat center.

Jude
and Tom tend to be linear thinkers-so this course will be
packed with specifics about the above information

Jude Hobbs is a horticulturist, permaculture designer,
and instructor. She has presented workshops and courses throughout
the West for 15 years, developing curricula that encompass
diverse learning styles. Since 1982, Jude's landscape design
business has provided environmental design solutions for urban
and rural. She has written A Guide to Multi-Functional Hedgerows
for Oregon State University Extension Service, and tends a
forest garden in Eugene, Oregon.
Tom
Ward is an enthno-botoanist, eco-forester and PC designer.
He
has extensive multi-cultural experience in the USA and overseas.
He is the author of Greenward Ho: An ecological approach to
Sustainable Health. Tom has developed curricula for PC courses
at Laney College and D-Q University in California. He has
taught PC Design Courses for 17 years and is based in Ashland,
Oregon building ecotopian culture for 26 years.
Certification:
Course graduates will receive a Teacher Training Certificate
from the Cascadia Permaculture Institute.
